Established in 1985, Lee’s Performance has grown from one racer’s passion for motorcycles into one of the most respected names in the high-performance motorcycle industry.

Founder Lee Shierts has been racing motorcycles for more than 50 years, with experience spanning motocross, supercross, road racing, drag racing, and land speed racing. His competitive career included finishing fourth in the nation in the AMA 250 GP Series and earning recognition as the top privateer in the Formula USA Series for three years.

Lee started the business on his 21st birthday as a way to support his racing career. What began alongside his own competition quickly developed into a lifelong pursuit of motorcycle performance, combining firsthand racing experience with the precision, knowledge, and attention to detail required to build motorcycles that perform at the highest level.

After retiring from road racing, Lee turned his attention to drag racing and land speed racing, setting numerous records along the way and continuing to break his own marks. One of his greatest achievements came with the East Coast Timing Association, reaching 260 MPH in the standing mile.

Today, that same passion for speed and performance is behind everything we do at Lee’s Performance. We specialize in performance tuning, engine builds, ECU flashing, dyno tuning, repairs, and high-quality motorcycle parts for everything from street motorcycles to serious race builds.

Our reputation extends far beyond our local area. Customers regularly travel hours to bring their motorcycles to Lee’s Performance, while riders from across the country and around the world ship us their bikes or purchase motorcycles to have them built, tuned, tested, and shipped directly to them. That level of trust has been earned through decades of experience and a commitment to doing the job right.

Lee’s Performance is also an authorized Dynojet Tuning Center, offering complete dynamometer tuning on our Dynojet Load Control Model 250 Dyno. Every motorcycle receives custom tuning tailored specifically to its engine combination to maximize horsepower, drivability, and reliability.
